Measuring Guide
Roller garage doors are made around the size and layout of the garage opening..
Roller garage doors are engineered precisely to fit specific structural openings. Accurate measurement and documentation are critical for successful architectural integration.
Project Reference
MSR-RG-2024
Perform a three-point measurement survey of the structural masonry opening. Record minimum and maximum values to account for site tolerance.
Measure at three horizontal stations: Baseline, Mid-point, and Header.
Measure at three vertical stations: Left Jamb, Centerline, and Right Jamb.
Technical Note
"Measurements must be recorded in millimeters (mm). Final production figures will be verified by a certified site surveyor."
Figure 1.1: Standard Structural Opening Matrix
Required vertical space above opening for roll housing structural clearance (varies by model).
Minimum 75mm-100mm space required on both structural jambs for guide rail configurations.
Verify complete absence of electrical conduits, structural meters, or rafters within the active roll zone.
Clearance Visualizer
Interior structural viewpoint tracking roll track clearance zones and vertical support positions.
Mandatory visual site elements required for engineering validation:
Self-submitted initial measurements serve exclusively as the technical baseline for architectural pricing quotes. All production outputs require field validation.
